Chinese Junks and Other Native Craft ReviewThis book was written by my great-uncle, and has been part of family lore ever since I can remember. I was pleased to see that it had been re-printed and re-issued. I have a copy of the original Kelly and Walsh 1924 edition, but unfortunately my copy has been stripped of its colour plates. I was disappointed to find that editors chose to re-print the new edition without the plates. I do have to say, however, that apart from that the new edition is remarkably faithful to the original, and has an excellent introduction that sets the original in a historical as well as a nautical context.
