Japanese Post Offices in China and Manchuria Review.
It's a hardbound book, with valuable information on the Japanese post offices that operated in China and Manchuria before WWII. A brief decription of each location is provided, along with city and regional maps pinpointing the whereabouts of all but the smallest post offices. Dates of operation, including dates on which the offices were re-named or re-located are also given.
The different cancellation types known for each post office are also provided, although this information has been updated considerably in other publications since Mosher's book was published. What makes this book really useful, though, is that it provides the name of the post office in Kanji,) and the corresponding alphabetic transliterations for both the Japanese and Chinese pronounciations. It's therefore possible to identify the cancellation even if you can't read the Kanji on the cancel, although you might have to go through this book page by page.
